I found this wonderful quote as I searched the net one day. It is actually taken from the inspirational book, "Point of Art", by portrait artist Robert Maniscalco.
"God was very good to artists, creating forms in nature, which are related so beautifully one to another. Our job is to unwrap these mysteries like a child opening a birthday present - ripping and tearing with the urgency of a child discovering the next toy."
This quote may have been written for the artist, but I think it applies to all who love art...I read it to say that the forms in nature which the artist captures in his artwork are to delight us...they are there for us to devour as would a child...thanks for the beautiful imagery, Robert!!
